Before Your Visit
A few important things to know before your visit…
In order to create a play and learning experience that is engaging, safe, and enjoyable for your entire family, we limit the capacity in our spaces. Advance reservations are highly encouraged.
Please note that we host semi-private parties on Saturdays and Sundays at our Nook Ballston Quarter location; for that reason, weekends at this location will be busier.
Nook Mosaic: There is plenty of free garage and street parking available; we suggest parking in the garage located in the Target building. You’ll find Nook on the lobby level.
Nook Ballston Quarter: The entrance to the paid parking garage is located on 627 N. Glebe Road. Parking is $1 for up to 3 hours. Nook is located next to Macy’s on level M1.
We do not accept cash onsite. We accept all major credit cards. We encourage you to make a reservation for play online in advance of your visit to speed up your check-in process.
For fire safety reasons, we cannot permit strollers inside our spaces. You can park your strollers directly outside our space. Nook is not responsible for any items left in strollers that are lost or stolen.
Additional Guests & Children Over 5
Each Open Play reservation includes complimentary admission for one adult. $10 per additional family member over 5 years old. Siblings over 5 are welcome, though we ask that caregivers ensure that our younger guests not only receive priority in the space, but are also given the space to explore and play safely.
No Shoes Policy
We require all guests to remove their shoes and wear socks in the play space.
Nut Free & Outside Food Policy
Nook is a nut-free space; for that reason, we also do not allow outside food in our spaces during Open Play hours.
What to Bring
Nook is dedicated to reducing waste. We offer complimentary filtered water and coffee at our spaces and encourage you to bring your own water bottles and travel mugs.
You can reschedule or cancel your reservation online up to 12 hours prior to the start of your reservation.
